Good shocks for geo tracker?

I recently purchased a 1992 geo tracker and the shocks are a little worn, I have 33x10.5 mud tires on it with no lift , I plan on doing some fairly serious off roading with the tracker but it is also my daily driver so i'm wondering what would be some good options for shocks. I'm willing to sacrifice a little ride comfort for better off road capability but also dont want to break the bank any suggestions? I think the curb weight is only about 2300 pounds so if anyone has experience with a vehicle of this sort any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
